Thanks to everyone at California Estate Sales for your excellent work and assistance with our parents home and belongings. Our parents were married for 62 years and had accumulated a lot of antiques and collectibles. Additionally our father was “Mr. Fix-it” and had a three car garage full of tools.
We knew that some day we would have to face the job of going through our parents belongings and sell their home and we were dreading it. When the time came, we interviewed several companies and were not thrilled with our options. Two of the ‘companies’ didn’t have any type of insurance, two were just people who would hold a garage sale for us, and one company we had a bad feeling about. Then we had a consultation with Catherine at California Estate Sales and we were so impressed. Long story short, Catherine arranged for sale of some of our parents high end items out side of the estate sale and got us top dollar. She also had a buyer that purchased all our fathers tools which was an effective and quick transaction that we didn’t expect. It would have been emotional to see people pick through our fathers treasures for $1.00-$2.00 so we were happy that the tools went to “a good home”. Catherine also arranged to have our fathers table saw donated to a senior center where they do woodworking so that was another positive experience.
The estate sale was a big success and we were extremely happy with the attitude, professionalism, and competency of the staff at Calif Estate Sales.
