The color Purple is most associated with royalty, magic, and mystery. When combined with pink, it is associated with eroticism, femininity, and seduction.
If it were socially acceptable I would wear Purple velvet every day but instead I settle for a velvet sofa in the living room and a velvet poof in my bedroom.
The only better combination than Purple/Velvet is Peanut Butter/Jelly.
